For the past five months, I have had the pleasure of serving as the treasurer for the campaign of Benjamin Weisner for Maine House District 89.

Ben has spent this time visiting the citizens of his district to understand what they need from their state representative.

In addition to making these house calls, he has been working hard in his small business to help his clients, serving on the board of directors of the Great Falls Balloon Festival, and staying involved in other charitable activities, including serving on a scholarship committee that makes awards to local students pursuing higher education.

His dedication to his community is impressive, and this is just one of his traits that I know would make him an excellent state representative.

I hope people cast their vote for Ben on Nov. 8. I feel confident that he would work hard for them in Augusta.
