As we face the election, let’s be clear: Inflation is not being caused by Joe Biden and Democrats.
Not when gas companies are reaping sky-high profits while gouging drivers at gas pumps. Not when inflation is resounding throughout the world. Not when Russia threatens total destruction and disrupts Ukrainian supply lines. Not when the two-year-plus pandemic threw world economies into disarray.
I firmly believe Democrats like Gov. Janet Mills and Congressman Jared Golden are the keys to helping us.
Unlike her predecessor, Janet expanded Medicaid to lower health care costs for thousands of Mainers. She’s providing free community college to high school graduates from the pandemic. She okayed $850 per adult for inflation relief.
Jared backed the Infrastructure Act that brings hundreds of well-paying jobs to Maine. He voted for the Inflation Reduction Act, which reduces prescription drug and health care costs.
I’m voting for Janet and Jared — they’re on our side.
