DEAR SUN SPOTS: For the person with Christmas cards to donate (Jan. 30 Sun Spots), I love making donations to the Lewiston-Auburn SHARECenter. The recycled goods get used by local teachers. Cards are useful for collages and other art projects.I know the SHARECenter is on the move and we would be interested in knowing where it all stands right now. I keep an old laundry basket around to accumulate stuff for them. It always feels so much better finding another life for items versus trashing them.
Thank you, dear Ms. Sun Spots, for all that you do. You are a valuable community asset. — No name, Lewiston

ANSWER: The ShareCenter workers and Bates College volunteers are preparing to open the new SHARECenter at 1830 Lisbon St. in Lewiston. It should be any day now. Stay tuned for dates and times by following along on Facebook at
