PARIS — Jake Carson and Hunter Tardiff each rushed for a pair of touchdowns and Oxford Hills’ defense held Windham to 64 yards of offense in a 35-14 Class A football win Friday.

The Eagles (4-3) took the lead when Ayden Cofone returned the opening kick 87 yards for a touchdown. The Vikings (5-2) quickly answered with a touchdown pass from Brady Truman to Nick Binette, then took the lead when Carson scored late in the first quarter.

Carson added a second touchdown in the second quarter to make it 21-7 before Finn Smith caught a touchdown pass from Garrett Winslow to bring Windham within 21-14 at halftime.

Tardiff then scored in the third and the fourth quarters as the Vikings pulled away.

Tardiff finished with 113 yards on 11 carries, and Carson had 52 yards on 10 carries.

Truman completed 20 of 28 passes for 203 yards, one score and an interception. Brayden Murch led Oxford Hills in receiving with eight catches for 81 yards. Binette caught four balls for 62 yards, and Eli Laverdeiere four for 29.

The Vikings defense allowed only 35 yards passing and 29 rushing. Murch, Binette and Carter Wyman each had an interception.

FRYEBURG 39, POLAND 7: Cohen Carter passed for three touchdowns, including a 31-yard strike to Logan Walton, as the Raiders (6-1) cruised to a win over the Knights (4-3) in Fryeburg.

Malik Sow had a 25-yard touchdown run. Gunnar Saunders added a 3-yard TD run and Carter threw scoring passes to Freddie Francis and Idan Or.

Poland’s Damon Martin threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Nick Aube in the fourth quarter.

DIRIGO 45, BOOTHBAY 0: Hudson Lufkin ran for three long touchdown runs and threw for another in the first half as the Cougars (6-1) rolled past the Seahawks (3-4) in Dixfield.

Lufkin sandwiched 47- and 70-yard scoring runs around Nathaniel Wainwright’s 35-yard touchdown scamper in the first quarter. Lufkin connected with Wainwright on the two-point conversion pass after Wainwright’s score.

Lufkin threw a 65-yard touchdown pass to Trevor Crosby and ran another touchdown in from 57 yards out in the second quarter.

Isaiah Bradeen scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter and Tanner Bradeen ran for an 80-yard touchdown in the fourth.
