I write to express my strong support for Jeff Harmon to be the next mayor of Auburn.
I have lived in Auburn for most of my 83 years. Never before have I so firmly believed that we must have new city leadership.
It is imperative for us to elect a mayor who has the ability to restore civility to Auburn’s city government. Jeff would treat all in a respectful manner — including our twin city of Lewiston’s mayor and citizens.
We need a mayor and City Council members who listen and care about the opinions and feelings of Auburn residents, and who will work collaboratively with us in making decisions that affect all of our lives during these challenging times.
Jeff Harmon has demonstrated, along with his other proven leadership skills — integrity, authenticity and humility.
I believe he would make an excellent mayor of Auburn.
