(Sun Journal photo) Students in Marilyn Curtis’ fourth grade class at the Marion T. Morse Elementary in Lisbon Falls have been studying and classifying ecological plots. Each student grids off a three feet by a three feet plot in order to observe and collect data on three different days. The information then had to be analyzed and classified according to a system set up by the students. The students then had to identify different plants and insects found in their plot. This was then shared through diagrams, charts and posters.
