RUMFORD — Brooke Brown scored the team-high 10 points as Mountain Valley was balanced on offense in a 48-39 Class B South girls basketball win over Cape Elizabeth on Monday.

Madison Dow delivered eight, Layce Boucher seven, and Alyvia Theriault, and Ella Young and Brooke Bennett all scored six for the Falcons (2-5).

Grace Callahan paced the Capers (0-8) with 16 points, with 12 coming in the second half. Mel Martinez scored all 10 of her points in the first half, with nine coming in the second quarter.

BOOTHBAY 61, OAK HILL 51: Bella Orr led the Seahawks (3-6) with 20 points in the victory over the Raiders (0-6) in Wales.

Tatum French chipped in with 11 points and Meg Sledge finished with 10.

Audrey McElhaney led Oak Hill with 13 points, Haylee Harris dropped in 12 and Mackenzie Wardwell had 10.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 47, LISBON 8: Mina Milosevic led the Raiders (5-3) in a win over the Greyhounds (0-7) in Lisbon.

Eden Trey, Jackie Guzman Gonzalez and Kassidy Jordan all had six points.

Kasie Booker and Deanna Adams each had four points for Lisbon.

BOYS BASKETBALL
TEMPLE ACADEMY 58, RANGELEY 55: The Bereans (4-4) held on against the Lakers (2-6) in Rangeley.

Gabe Young and Peyton Reckards did the damage from inside the arch for Temple, scoring 18 and 16 points, respectively, with both making eight 2-pointers. Nathan Corey made four 3-pointers as part of his 15-point output.

Brayden Thompson and Anthony Whittier dropped in 19 and 18 points, respectively, to lead Rangeley.

RICHMOND 71, BUCKFIELD 34: Hunter Mason and Wyatt Cassidy combined for 35 points to lead the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.

Mason finished with 18 points while Cassidy had 17 for Richmond (9-0).

Krosby Harvey scored 13 points to lead Buckfield (3-5).
