The Johnstown Tomahawks earned a weekend sweep of the Maine Nordiques with a 2-0 victory in an NAHL East Division game at the 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Saturday night.

Zach Ferris made 29 saves for the shutout.

Maine (27-10-5, 59 points) ends its 10-game road trip with a 4-4-2 record.

Zach Aben scored late in the first period for the eventual game-winning goal.

Cade Baker added the insurance marker for Johnstown (22-14-2, 46 points) in the middle frame.

Will Lawrence, Nick White, Dylan Shane and Justin Rapp all had assists for the Tomahawks.

Carter Richardson stopped 29 shots for the Nordiques.

The Nordiques are off until Feb. 9-10 when the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks come to The Colisee.
