LEEDS — Birdie Googins (a.k.a. “The Marden’s Lady”) will be performing at the Leeds Community Church at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.

Birdie’s one-woman show offers interactive fun, kooky, over-the-top humor popular with audiences around New England.

Opening the evening entertainment will be the contemporary rock/pop sounds of The Manic Optimists, an all-male a capella group from Bates College.

Refreshments will be served at intermission. Reserved tickets are $10 and are available by calling 524-7151 or 524-5212. Tickets at the door are $12. Proceeds of this show will benefit the Leeds Church maintenance fund.
