Then stop by Lewiston Winter Farmers’ Market Holiday Extravaganza between 5 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center, 208 Bates St. Additional parking is available in the parking lot to the right of St. Patrick’s church.
The market brings together 25 vendors selling Maine grown and Maine made products including fresh fruits and veggies, pasture-raised meats, eggs, seafood, live lobster, milk and artisan cheeses, fresh bread, handmade desserts and maple syrup.
Market goers will find great stocking stuffers including handmade soaps, body lotions and holiday scented wax melts. Shoppers can give the gift of wellness with herbal teas, extracts and syrups, bath oils, salves or herbal rice bags. To add that final touch to holiday decor shoppers can pick up balsam wreaths, swags and arches, Celtic Christmas ornaments or Asiatic lilies.
Other great gifts available at market include one-of-a-kind pottery, jewelry, fiber art and needle felting kits, strudel, pies, preserves and pickles and of course handmade holiday cards.
The Winter Market Cafe will be serving season-inspired hot soup, bread and salad combos at affordable prices.
