Steinzor will read from his book, To Join the Lost, a contemporary revisiting of Dante’s Inferno, which has been described by critics as “achingly personal,” “daring,” and “a feat of imaginative wit,” among other terms of praise.

According to Steinzor, “One does not need to be a Dante scholar to enjoy these pieces, as the depictions of the Nether World are graphic and offered with all the gusto, indignation, immediacy, and not infrequent humor of Dante’s original.”
