FARMINGTON — A section of High Street and South Street will be closed Saturday, May 17, to ease congestion around graduation at the University of Maine at Farmington.
High Street from Lake Avenue to Middle Street will close from 10 to 11 a.m., according to UMF police Chief Brock Caton. South Street will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for handicap parking.
Motorists traveling in and around UMF on Saturday can expect delays due to the foot and vehicle traffic.
If the weather is poor, the ceremony will take place at the UMF Fitness and Recreation Center on Quebec Street.
