AUBURN – Edward and Lucille Oldham of Auburn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19 at a brunch at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston.

Party hosts were Susan Rogers and Karen Theriault and their families, daughters of the couple. The tables were decorated with photo arrangements of the couple. Kenneth Oldham was the toastmaster.

Mr. Oldham and the former Lucille Chase were married on May 29, 1954, at the High Street Congregational Church in Auburn. In addition to their two daughters, they have three grandchildren, Kyle and Jeremy Theriault and Lindsey Rogers.

Both are graduates of Edward Little High School in the Class of 1949 and are members of the High Street Congregational Church.

Mr. Odham was an active member of the Kora Shrine Arab Patrol for 25 years. He retired from the Post Office in 1998.

Mrs. Oldham is an active member of the national sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, and retired from the Auburn School Department in 1999.

They have a home in Bradenton, Fla., where they spend several months each winter.

Original wedding attendants present were his brother, Kenneth Oldham, best man, her sister, Marilyn Oldham, maid of honor, his stepbrother, Bruce Packard, usher, her sister, Beverly Taylor, guest book, and her cousin, Eleanor Mains, server at the reception.
