LISBON FALLS — The World’s Greatest Sleigh Ride, originally planned for Sunday, Feb. 15, has been rescheduled due to the incoming storm.
The event will celebrate its 22nd year with rides to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at 407 Main St., Route 125.
This event is a combined effort of members of the Pejepscot Snow-Chiefs Snowmobile Club and of the local Farmers Draft Horse, Mule and Pony Club. All are volunteers and all proceeds benefit Pine Tree Camp.
Suggested donation is $3 for children and $4 for adults.
In addition to the horse-drawn sleigh rides through fields and woods, snowmobile rides are also offered. Homemade doughnuts with hot drinks, chili, stews and other treats will be available.
