LEWISTON – Chefs Cam Luu of Wei-Li Chinese Restaurant in Auburn and Christopher Bassett of Azure Café in Freeport will demonstrate their expertise Friday, Oct. 26, at the second annual Chefs Soirée.

The informal evening will begin with a social hour, followed by a cooking demonstration by Luu and Bassett. Assisting Bassett will be the owner of Azure Café,Jonas Werner. Assisting Luu will be Paul Landry of Fishbones.

Diners will get to enjoy delectable delicacies while sipping tasty wines. Desserts to satsify the sweet tooth will be prepared by pastry chef Katrina Liquori and students from the culinary arts program at Lewiston Regional Technical Center.

The Chefs Soirée will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Nutrition Center of Maine, 208 Bates St. Tickets are $100 per person and may be purchased by calling 777-8863, or via e-mail at [email protected]. Proceeds will benefit the Sisters of Charity Food Pantry.
