The Downeast Brass band will be blowing its horns to help youngsters discover the healthy fun of skiing and boarding at Titcomb Mountain. The band will perform at 7 p.m., Sunday, July 26, at the Lincoln Auditorium at the University of Maine at Farmington. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for students and children under 10 are free. Proceeds benefit children’s Learn to Ski and Board Scholarships at the Farmington slope. “We are excited to be able to bolster our programs for budding new skiers and boarders while enjoying great music,” said Kathy Yardley, president of the Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation. The Downeast Brass is well known in New England, having performed at events ranging from weddings and festivals to parades. FMI: contact Dick Forster 491-8385 or 778-2621.
