LEWISTON — Community Concepts, a nonprofit, community action agency serving Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties, announces recent additions to its development and marketing team.

Candace Sanborn will lead the development and marketing efforts as vice president of resource development and marketing. Will Fessenden will oversee online and print communications as the new communication and events manager. Both are new positions for the agency, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Sanborn will focus on business development strategies for Community Concepts and Community Concepts Finance Corp., leading all facets of the annual and communitywide campaigns and providing the overall direction for the agency’s branding and marketing efforts.

Fessenden will lead the organizations’ online and outreach strategies, manage all print and electronic communications, as well as oversee all community events.

Sanborn, of Auburn, has nearly 30 years of marketing experience, including owning a marketing firm for 15 years. She serves on the boards of Central Maine Medical Center and the Maine Community Foundation and is active in community groups.

Fessenden lives in Sabattus and has spent a decade in television and radio in Portland and Augusta. He has 10 years of marketing and branding experience.
