BRIDGTON — Bridgton Hospital has announced that Christine Lint, RN, has passed the Infusion Nurses Certification Corp.’s September 2016 Certified Registered Nurse Infusion examination.
Lint joins an elite, global community of more than 3,000 active CRNIs.
The exam tests the knowledge and expertise of registered nurses in eight core areas of infusion therapy practice: technology and clinical applications; fluid and electrolyte balance; pharmacology; infection prevention and control; special populations; transfusion therapy; antineoplastic/biologic therapy; and parenteral nutrition. In doing so, the exam validates the extensive knowledge and skill an expert registered nurse in infusion nursing possesses.
