LEWISTON – The Maine Credit Union League recently honored several people with the Maine CU Movement’s annual awards. The recipients were honored at a ceremony in Augusta during the league’s 69th annual meeting and convention. The 2007 Maine Credit Union League award winners include:

Ronald Fournier, president/CEO of Maine Family FCU, was presented the James M. Gratto Award for outstanding credit union manager.

Fournier was recognized for his leadership in developing opportunities for the credit union’s staff and members.

Vicki Stuart, president/CEO of Central Maine FCU in Lewiston, was presented the Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman’s Award. She was honored for her advocacy and involvement in governmental affairs on behalf of credit unions. In selecting Stuart for the award, Phil Moreau, chair of the Maine Credit Union League’s governmental affairs committee, recognized her for her strong involvement and support of governmental and legislative affairs.
