Library Day
WILTON — Blueberry picking during the “Library Day” fundraiser at the Wilton Blueberry Farm raised $888 for the Wilton Free Public Library.
According to Jan Collins and Irv Faunce, co-owners of the farm, the proceeds from the day’s sales will go to “support the many programs that our Library offers to our community and the funds will help the library continue as a valuable community asset.”
Many customers offered more than the amount of their purchase as a gift to the library, they said
This was the fifth year that the farm has offered the sales proceeds of one entire day as a gift to the library.
