LEWISTON – Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District has announced the results of the Nov. 17 election for a board of supervisors position at the supervisors’ meeting on Nov. 20.
Jane Heikkinen said, “The results of our election for the Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District board of supervisors position shows Paul Roseberry being re-elected.”
Roseberry has served with the district since January 2006. He is a graduate of Richmond High School and works on an organic dairy farm with his brother, Joe. Roseberry is well known as a leader on the State Grange Agriculture Committee.
Roseberry has been farming in Sagadahoc County for decades, installing and maintaining may types of conservation practices on the family farm. The practices installed have improved soil and water quality. Roseberry continues to take courses to update his knowledge.
The three-year term begins Thursday, Jan. 1.
