PHILLIPS – Winona Davenport and Justafield Golf Teaching Center will host a first rules clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at the teaching center on Route 4. Rain date is July 8. Participants should bring a bag lunch and drink, bug spray, ball, marking pen and one club. Donation is $10.

The teaching center is set up with water hazards, lateral water hazards, out of bounds, movable and immovable obstructions. Participants will learn what to do if a ball is unplayable, when to play a provisional ball, and other rules of the game. FMI: 639-4296.
