FARMINGTON – Likable Recyclables, in conjunction with SAD 9, is offering a public collection of all unused, unwanted electrical equipment at no cost to area residents (donations accepted) from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 14, at Foster Technology Center, automotive program bay.

Items to be accepted are, but are not limited to, computers (including monitors), computer peripherals, printers, cabling, external drives, cameras, cell phones and TVs. All hard drives are thoroughly “wiped” so that no information could be retrieved.

Businesses are welcome to bring their obsolete computer equipment to the collection for a fee of $20 per computer (this includes CPU, monitor, mouse, keyboard, small scanner and small printer).

Thirty percent of all fees plus all donations collected during the event will be given to the school district.
