PARIS – The Paris Department of Parks and Recreation has announced plans to host an art show and festival at historic Moore Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
The festival, which will be called “Moore Art – In the Park,” will feature at least 70 artists and artisans on the grounds all day, with revolving music and other performance arts in the gazebo, food vendors and a kids’ corner adjacent to the already-existing playground.
Artists interested in exhibiting at the show may do so for $40; festival application forms will be available beginning Monday, March 12, at the Paris Town Office, at the Painted Mermaid Art Gallery in South Paris, on the Web at http://town.paris.me.us/rec.html, and at other local venues.
