LEWISTON – American Legion Post 22, 190 Bates St., has named Joseph Paradis, trustee and service officer, to have a recently found photograph appraised. The photo of the Justice Hall of the World was taken in the World War I era.

Paradis plans to travel to Wiscasset and Bay Harbor for an appraisal. Also serving on the committee are First Vice Commander, Doris Hamel, Trustee Don Dube and Adjutant Jerry DerBoghosian.

A report on the appraisal will be made at a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the old post home, 190 Bates St.

Plans are being made for a Thanksgiving lunch and a guest speaker. A membership report of a recent drive will be made. Dues are $23 and new members will be processed at the meeting. Call 786-0488 or 782-5700 for details.
