JAY – Two vehicles in different sections of town had items stolen from them Sunday.

Someone climbed a fence at Hilltop Collision Center and took items from a vehicle that had been towed there, said police Chief Larry White Sr.

Elsewhere, a resident of Franklin Road reported that tires were taken from a Z28 Camaro that was parked in her yard. Somebody used a small jack to lift the vehicle and took three of the four tires, White said.

The jack was left in position, holding up the car, he said.
