RUMFORD  — The Pennacook Art Center will open a new show at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St. The River Valley Growth Council and Pennacook will host a reception in the Tech Center lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, to meet the artists and view the art.

There will be a door prize given that night to someone in attendance. The show features paintings, drawings and photographs by local art professionals. The art is for sale through the Growth Council and a portion of the proceeds will go to support its operations.
