Marla has been a journalist for nearly 20 years at newspapers in Maine and Connecticut. She has been a writer, a designer, a photographer, a columnist, and for six years led the nighttime production and copy editing team at the Sun Journal. Marla is currently a Sun Journal Deputy Managing Editor, heading up the Maine Trust for Local News’ Western Maine newspapers. She lives in Auburn with her husband, kids, dog, two cats, a bearded dragon and a snake.
