A headline in Wednesday’s paper incorrectly reported that both sides in Maine’s casino referendum campaign spent $4.7 million as of Sept. 30. Actually, the pro-casino Think About It campaign alone spent the $4.7 million, breaking a campaign spending record by any one individual or group in Maine.
