The Oxford Hills-based team rallied multiple times and won on a walk-off hit in extras, then Turner used a pair of four-run innings to pull away for a victory. The two teams meet Monday in an elimination game.

Oxford Hills-based Bessey Motors couldn’t mount the comeback against Central Maine and will play at 11 a.m. on Sunday while facing elimination. The Bandits couldn’t keep up with Quirk Motor City.

For the Turner Bandits and Bessey Motors, chemistry will be key in how far each team advances in the American Legion state tournament.
