LITCHFIELD — Down East Country Music Association artists will perform from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Litchfield Fair. Scheduled to appear are Fred Couverette & The Country Gentlemen, Mike Ferrucci, Potpourri, Walter Weymouth & Ryan Reed, and Marji Sylvester. The fair will be held at 30 Plains Road.

Richmond man charged with stealing home’s copper pipes
A Richmond man was arrested Tuesday and charged with breaking into a vacant house in Litchfield and stealing its copper piping, according to a statement from Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
