After ‘How to Catch a Gingerbread Man’ was read to them Tuesday, kindergarten students at Spruce Mountain Primary School in Livermore made gingerbread house ornaments then created traps to catch a gingerbread man using marshmallows, gumdrops and toothpicks.

VFW supports Wreaths Across America, will decorate cemetery with wreaths
At 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls a wreath will be placed at the grave of Frank L. Mitchell, for whom VFW Post 3335 in Jay is named. It is one of 55 wreaths that will be placed on veterans’ graves there, including those for whom other local veterans organizations are named.
