The Maine Wildlife Park opened Monday, June 15, for the season. But this season, it looks a little bit different.
The park is taking reservations, but visitors snatched up the park's limited spots within days. Officials will soon consider what to do about July.
Over 1,000 children and their families have come out each year to hear Charette and see the show under the tall white pines of the park picnic area.
The popular event is a celebration of Native American heritage and culture, offering entertainment, education and fun all weekend.
Both events will be held at the park in Gray on May 25.
