Perham Stream Birding Trail and Museum open to the public

The trail is wide and maintained with a mower biweekly, is easy to navigate, and is suitable for all ages.

Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust has offered a few tips on how to be a good neighbor on the water and to protect the natural resource of the lakes.

The family-friendly series will be offered the second Saturday of June, July and August, free for families with children ages 4 to 6.

This year Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust’s walks will occur every Wednesday evening throughout the summer at 5:30.

The sessions were held over school vacations and open to children in kindergarten through fourth grade.

Classes will be offered in May and June.

The overnight project will take place June 12 to 15 in Wilsons Mills: John J. McDevitt Woods.

This inaugural festival will honor the late John Bicknell and will be held June 7-9.

Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust closed on three new separate parcels of land in 2018.

The event was held on Haley Pond in Rangeley on Feb. 23.
