FARMINGTON – Meetinghouse Park will get a face lift Wednesday, April 23, when representatives from U.S. Cellular and the Farmington Parks and Recreation Department take to the park for a day of spring cleaning.
The annual event is held in conjunction with Earth Day, which was Tuesday, April 22.
The cleanup will begin at 10 a.m., rain or shine, at the park, and community volunteers of all ages are encouraged to come help make the park a more attractive centerpiece for the town. Garbage bags will be provided, but participants are asked to bring their own rakes and gloves if possible.
