LEWISTON-Football League for Youth will be conducting its final player and cheerleader and player registration for the upcoming season on July 17 and 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center.

All youth between ages 6 and 13 (as long as their 14th birthday falls after Oct. 31), are invited to participate. Participants between the ages of 6 and 7 will participate in a flag-based, instructional program; eight-through-10-year-olds compete in the Junior Division. Ages 11 through 13 compete in the Senior Division.

Those interested in registering will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and bring a valid birth certificate for proof of age.

The cost for one child is $50. Each additional child is $25, with a maximum of $100 per family. The league will play its games at Lewiston Athletic Park behind the Armory beginning with Opening Day on Sunday, Aug. 31 and concluding with the all-star games on Oct. 26.
