FARMINGTON – Selectmen authorized installation of temporary power at the former highway garage to allow continued use of the gasoline tank for town vehicles.

Selectmen opted to continue pursuit of joining other similar entities in a bulk purchase of gas to reduce the cost.

The town has already joined with SAD 9, Franklin Memorial Hospital, Sandy River Recycling Association in buying bulk diesel at a minimal cost.
