RUMFORD – Diane Farnum, a local, mental health advocate and nationally certified family educator, will again present a Family-to-Family Education Program. It will be co-taught by Rhonda Buker of Newry and will begin on Tuesday, March 9.

The 12-week curriculum was created by NAMI, is sponsored by NAMI-ME and co-sponsored by Oxford County Mental Health Services. It is for parents, spouses, siblings, teen/adult children, partners and/or other loved ones of people with serious mental illness. Sessions will cover the latest information on major mental illnesses, coping skills, basic medication, brain function, listening and communication skills, recovery and self-care.
