AUBURN – The wedding of Kelly Lynn Janke and Chad Thomas Hood was held at noon on Aug. 16 at St. Michael’s Church. The Rev. John Scott officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Hood is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lagueux of Auburn and Paul Janke of Chapmansboro, Tenn. Mr. Hood is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dana Hood of North Turner.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Bruce Janke. Brenda Smith, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Tina Lake, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristina Lake, niece of the bride, and Rebecca Erickson, niece of bride. Brooke Janke and Nicole Lake, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.

Nathan Hood served as best man for his brother and ushers were Ronald Cloutier, friend of the couple, Jeffrey Smith, Daniel Smith and Gregory Lake, nephews of the bride, and David Janke, brother of the bride. Jake Janke, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the VFW Hall in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Niagara Falls. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2002 graduate of Central Maine Technical College. She is employed part time at Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner and is owner of CKB DJ and Karaoke Services.
