GREENE – “Sing Me a Sing-along Song!” is the theme that Magic and Company has chosen for this year’s appearance at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 10, and 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, June 11, at the Sawyer Memorial.
The four-part chorus, under the direction of Roland M. Roy and Diane J. Biron, will perform songs reminiscent of the times when people were making music together around the parlor piano, at the great expositions, anywhere and everywhere.
In this spirit, the audience can join Magic and Company and sing along to music in styles as diverse as ragtime, barbershop, swing and blues. Folk and classical music will also be represented.
