AUBURN – Marty Engstrom, who tracks the weather on Mount Washington, will appear at the First Annual Literacy Fest at the Book Burrow & Cafe at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 18. The event is free to the public.

In celebration of Androscoggin County’s 150th anniversary and the Book Burrow’s one-year anniversary, a variety of events for all ages will take place in the outdoor courtyard of One Great Falls Plaza.

Highlights will include an appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog, a magic show by Bob Nixon, a meet and greet with the Showme Museum’s Poncho the Puppet, board and card games for teenagers and a History Story Circle hosted by Dennis Stires.
