GRAY – The Gray Region Citizen Corps and the Bicycle Coalition of Maine will offer a free bicycle safety class for the family at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Stimson Hall next to the monument in the center of town.
The nonprofit corps volunteers provide monthly safety and preparedness education seminars. Past seminars have included chain saw safety, pet first aid and traffic control operations.
Seminars are planned on home fire extinguishers, emergency shelter volunteer operations and cooking without electricity. More information about the corps program may be found at www.citizencorps.gov. Messages may be left with Gray Public Safety at 657-3931.
