RUMFORD – Appointments of several teachers and several dozen sports and co-curricular coaches and advisers will be made when the SAD 43 board meets Monday.

The meeting is the only one scheduled for July. It begins at 6:30 p.m. in the library of Mountain Valley High School.

Curriculum Coordinator Gloria Jenkins will update the board on the several grant-funded positions now serving in the district, and provide clarifications.

The board is also expected to award the fuel contract for the coming school year, make assignments to various committees, and learn of a donation to the music and theater programs at MVHS.

Other agenda items include: adoption of a 2004-2005 Board of Directors meeting calendar; reports from the contract, finance, personnel and policy committees; and a report from the Region 9 School of Applied Technology.

A closed session is scheduled at the end of the meeting to discuss a personnel issue.
