NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital and the Maine Medical Blood Center will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the hospital’s Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building, at Main and Winter streets. Appointments are encouraged, and may be made by phoning Mike or Jim at 743-5933, extension 432. Further information may be obtained by calling that number as well. All appointments will be honored before walk-ins. All donors will receive an appreciation gift for giving blood. Hot dogs, snacks and beverages will be available.

Concert at Oxford

OXFORD – The Fan Fair Concert Band will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Park at Route 121 and Skeetfield Road. Admission is free; spectators are asked to bring chairs or blankets. Refreshments will be available. Rainy weather will bring the event inside the legion hall next to the park. The concert is presented by the Anderson-Staples American Legion Post and sponsored by local businesses. More information may be obtained by calling 539-4102.

Paris concert

PARIS – Present Company will perform in concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Moore Park, Route 26. Spectators are asked to bring a chair or blanket and a picnic if they wish. Admission is free. The concert is sponsored by the Paris Parks and Recreation Committee and local businesses.
