AUBURN – Fiesta Shows, New England’s largest carnival, in partnership with the Liberty Festival, is bringing fun to the area from Thursday through Sunday, July 15 to 18, on Mount Auburn Avenue across from Super Wal-Mart. Partial proceeds will benefit the Liberty Festival.
As a special treat, on Saturday and Sunday, Spiderman will swing into town to meet the area youth. Spiderman, provided by Marvel, will be available for photos and autographs at the following times: Saturday, July 17, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, July 18, 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
The carnival will open weekdays at 6 p.m. and weekends at noon. Admission is $1; free for children under 8. There will be ride specials daily. Weeknight ride sessions will be from 6 p.m. to closing and weekend ride sessions from noon to 6 p.m. or 6 to 11 p.m. Two separate wristbands are required for the two weekend sessions.
