AUBURN – In a huge battle of powerhouses, Melanson/WAC defeated Meineke Muffler 10-5 in recent action. Kevin Cusson wielded the big stick with a triple, and a 3-run homer. Mike St. Hillaire was the winning hurler. Jeff Goss walloped a 3-run homer for the Mufflermen. Scott Lovejoy added a solo shot. Brad O’Connor was the losing pitcher.

CarQuest Auto outlasted Lincoln Street Radiator 10-8 as Denis Wing went 3-3 with 2 RBI, and Kris Gilhooly cracked 2 hits and drove in 3 runs. Rob Farrington earned the mound win. T. Chouinard and Dan Daigle were repeat hiters for Lincoln Street.
