PHILLIPS – Nancy Welch, resident service coordinator, for Shadagee Housing and the Rangeley Townhouse, will host a speaker from Legal Services for the Elderly.
The talk will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 8, at Shadagee Housing community building and from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Rangeley Townhouse community room.
Heather Talbot, staff attorney, will speak on advance health care directives, durable power of attorney and what they are. She will be available to answer questions after.
Senior citizens, health care workers, caregivers, adult children with elderly parents or adults of any age who have questions about appointing someone to manage their financial and medical decisions, should they become incapacitated, are welcome.
