BOSTON (AP) – John Curry stopped 25 of 26 shots to help Boston University to a 2-1 win over the University of Maine on Sunday.

It was the third straight win for the Terriers, who are now 3-2-0 overall and 2-0-0 in Hockey East. The Black Bears are 5-4-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the league

Peter MacArthur opened the scoring for the Terriers at 7:18 in the first period. John Ronan of Maine tied the game three minutes later. Brian McConnell’s game winner came on a power play goal in the second period.

Jimmy Howard had 30 saves for the Black Bears.
