MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) – A Coast Guard crew breaking ice in the Connecticut River found the body of a man floating in the water Sunday afternoon.
Middletown police said the man was white and about 54 years old. His body was taken to the chief medical examiner’s office for an autopsy and identification.
The Coast Guard crew found the body shortly after 1 p.m. in the river at the north end of Harbor Park.
