LEWISTON – The Kiwanis Club of Auburn-Lewiston met recently to install its slate of new officers for the new fiscal year, which began Oct. 1.

Club Secretary Craig Phillips administered oaths of office to Jeff Haggerty, president; Carol Edens, vice president; Larry Lauze, treasurer; Craig Phillips, secretary; and Dan Goff, Andrew Choate, Roy Ulrickson, Patti Gagne and Doug Dwinal, directors. Incoming President Nick Knowlton was out of town on business.

Haggerty hailed the successes of the past year, including the 48th annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, library museum passes, scholarships and support for Advocates for Children, New Beginnings and the Salvation Army.

He announced that the H. Frank Richards Kiwanian of the Year is Doug Dwinal.

The club has a busy year planned, and Membership Chairman John Cronin, as well as members, actively seeks new members to assist the club in “Celebrating Young Children: Priority One.”
